Year 5 / 6 Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Location: Stoke Newington, Hackney

Pay: £90 daily, increasing to £119 daily after 12 working weeks

Hours: Term Time Only, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

We are looking for a dedicated Year 5 / 6 Teaching Assistant to become a key member of our dynamic team.

Role Highlights:

Collaborative Teamwork: Join a team of three TAs working across two Year 5 classes, providing seamless support and collaboration.

Group Leadership: Lead small group sessions, creating an engaging and interactive learning atmosphere.

Classroom Support: Work closely with the class teacher to enhance the delivery of teaching and learning activities.

Individual Attention: Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.

Key Duties:

Support and monitor students' academic and social development.

Assist in the preparation and organisation of resources and materials for lessons and activities.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Provide constructive feedback to teachers on student progress and development.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience in supporting teaching and learning in a primary school setting, or a graduate aspiring to become a teacher.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to student success.

Strong organisational skills for managing small group activities and classroom resources.
