Year 5 Class Teacher + TLR - January 2025 - Islington - Inner London Primary School

We are on the hunt for an exceptional Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from January 2025.

The ideal candidate for this Year 5 Class Teacher opportunity will be a practitioner who can provide a stimulating class environment, plan effective lessons that generate curiosity, respond to pupils’ learning, provide appropriate resources and teach successfully in all areas of the Primary Curriculum.

We are looking for a Year 5 Teacher who:

• Is passionate, creative and can bring learning to life

• Looks beyond the classroom and is a team player

• Has a great sense of humour and enjoys building great relationships with colleagues

• Has QTS and experience of teaching in KS2

• Year 5 Class Teacher (KS2) + TLR for the right candidate

• January 2025 - Full Time & Permanent

• MPS1 -MPS6 + TLR - size depending on experience (£38,766 - £60,092)

• Located in the Borough Islington

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Year 5 Class Teacher + TLR

• Evidence of 'Good to Outstanding’ teaching practice

• UK QTS is a must

• Experience in delivering the UK national curriculum is essential

• Strong academic background

• Effective team-player

• Hardworking, committed & passionate
