HFG are delighted to be representing a top insurer, who are looking to strengthen their already strong finance team and bring an experienced Year End Financial Accountant in on a 6 Month FTC.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual items related to the group and its subsidiaries.
- Support the Group's quarterly financial reporting submissions to our parent company via OneStream and participate in work supporting the Finance Department's finance systems transformation activities.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of general ledger (GL) accounts across the group.
General Experience & Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in GL reconciliations experience including problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve/ clear differences.
- Good technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting.
- Good technical knowledge of UK GAAP.
- Experience using general ledgers and wider ERP systems.
